I also offer grooming for show and performance dogs as well, including hand stripping. A brief synopsis of my life with animals. Hello, my name is Morgan Bailey and animals are my life. I started caring for, training, and grooming a wide verity of domesticated animals since I was a young teen. I then became a professional horse trainer, instructor, and exhibitor by the year 2006. After many years in the horse industry, with dogs as my constant work partners and companions, I switched to cosmetology after the birth of my second child. It didn’t take long for me to realize, I would never truly thrive without being in a career with animals. So I went back to the faithful dogs that had always been by my side through the years and have since found my happy place in the world again. It is my privilege and honor to care for each and every animal and I’m proud to be trusted with a persons most precious companion. What’s not mentioned in the grooming services descriptions. I ONLY use top quality products, tools, treatments, and treats! You can trust your dogs wellbeing, comfort, and happiness is my top priority. I use positive reinforcement, including single and limited ingredient treats, to reassure your dog they’re doing well and help build their confidence in the various grooming processes. I also am happy to give the dogs breaks, either to potty, have a drink, or just stretch their legs and play awhile! I ensure every dog has the best time possible while providing them with as perfect as possible services, no matter what they might be that day. Cancellation Policy
All listed prices are base prices. The final price of services will be determined by the condition of the coat, as well as the behavior of the dog. If the dog is well behaved for all services but struggles with nail trimming, there could be an additional fee for that portion of the groom for example.
ANY undisclosed aggressive or reactive behavior or presence of fleas ticks or parasites will result in immediate termination of the service and any future services will be denied.
Misrepresentation of a dogs breed, size, coat or nail condition could result in termination of services.
No show and tardiness
Any “no call, no show” will result in termination of client-professional relationship. Cancellation of an appointment less than 72 hours before the appointment will result in a cancelation fee up to 60% of total cost. Tardiness of 15 minutes or more could result in rescheduling of the appointment as well as a “late fee” of $20 for the first 15 minutes. Tardiness of more than 30 minutes will result in a fee of $45. Tardiness to three appointment may result in termination of client -professional relationship. Tardiness to pick up without prior arrangements will result in a fee of $20 for every 15 past pick up time.
Matting of the coat.
A large quantity of “tangles” IS mating. Any medium-long hair can mat. There are a number of different types of mating including impaction matting, more common in double coated breeds. If a comb can not pass through the hair, from the skin all the way to the tip of the hair, it is matted. Matted coat is painful to the dog and requires much more time, product, and effort to remove, therefore the price of the groom will increase accordingly.
